Submit! nebu[lab] is open to literary and visual submissions of every ilk and genre and trans-genre, providing solely that they freak our freak.That’s about it: capture our attention, and you’re good to go.Of course, to do so won’t be easy, as we’re easily distracted and have been around the block a few times, whether or not we look it (the Shiseido and Countess Bathóry rituals help!).
nebu[lab] publishes two issues annually, a larger one on Bastille Day (July 14), and a short and sweet one on Epiphany (January 8).The second one is titled nebu[lab]_mini, and will ideally pair one writer and one visual artist, placing their resonance on display.
Poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, the lyrical essay, drama, prosetry, printmaking, video, performance, new media: the whole shebang.Suggested lengths/quantities of work for consideration are:
·Poetry: 5-6 poems ·Prose: 10-20 pages ·Image: 5-6 slides ·Moving image: 2-3 selections Submissions are examined on a rolling basis, and should be emailed to: nebulab@nobleworld.biz or tata@nobleworld.biz
Maximum size for images is 10 MBs per image (picture) and 50MBs per moving image (film). We prefer .jpeg or .mpeg-4 for imaging but can work with other formats. Poetry or fiction must be submitted in .doc.
