Nebula and African Nebula honour the DOAJ's definition of "Open Access" which provides readers with a) unlimited access to articles available at no charge to them when accessed through the Nebula website and b) allows the readers to circulate the articles by printing, photocopying or storing them in a mechanical retrieval system (e.g. computer) .
Articles published in Nebula remain the copyright of their authors who also authorise Nebula to distribute their work on their behalf .The authors give Nebula full permission to authorise indexing databases and their partners to reproduce their work in part or in full, in any format, without prior permission from the author. Nebula is also archived bi-annually, and for perpetuity, by PANDORA at the National Library of Australia. Nebula content is actively indexed in the MLA electronic bibliographic database as well as other global indexing databases.
Contributors are asked not to submit material to Nebula which has been previously published or is being considered for publication elsewhere, or, to submit material to this periodical with the intent of submission elsewhere, or induce any sort of overlap in any chronological order where this matter is concerned.
Nebula reserves the right to cease provision of hosting-space for any article, should any acts of academic dishonesty come to our attention after the event of the article's publication.
Nebula receives a large number of submissions for each issue. Only articles that are already of a publishable quality and standard progress in the review process. Reader reports are only available to those whose submissions have been provisionally accepted for publication as we cannot provide detailed feedback for all the material we are obliged to reject.
On average, 33% of all submissions made to this journal per year are accepted for publication.
We reserve the right to alter or update these policies and action them without prior notice.
